Celebrating the Gay Experience in America
The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida is proud to present this epic musical chronology of LGBTQ lives in America by Tony Award-nominated composer Andrew Lippa.
Commissioned in 2018 by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, directed by Dr. Timothy Seelig,
in loving memory of Edwin Brent Jones (1951-2016) by his husband, Eddie Reynolds
“Unbreakable,” Lippa says, “is my musical tribute to the LGBTQ community — how we evolved, triumphed, suffered and soared. It’s also my lament for a world still full of bakers who won’t bake for us, lawmakers who won’t make for us and conservative minds who won’t wake for us.”
